Dear Gerry
You brought much happiness and kindness to your teacher role, and my friend Christine (March) and I loved helping you keep the school library 'properly sorted'. What joy it was hearing your lovely lunchtime laughter , along with that of French teacher, Sue, as you grabbed quick picnic lunches in the library office. Happy days! You introduced us to many great writers: the Sylvia Plath 'Ariel' you gave me in 1972 still sits in my bookcase, and is still read. So nice to occasionally catch up with you in the years that followed. The kindness and smiles always there . Thank you.
Jayne (Chaston- Morrell). xx
